Daily Schedule [ET]
9:00am: Daily Briefing & Nightly Recap

5:00pm: Daily Wrap

Product

-> Each morning will go over the nightly recap and morning outlook. The nightly recap will be a general recap of any important news or movements that took place during the European and Asian trading hours, allowing traders to gain a better perspective of the morning sentiment.

-> Morning outlooks will consist of charts with daily levels of interest and key signals to pay attention to during market moving events. The morning outlooks will have a commodity focus but will cover a multitude of sectors.

-> The information that will be dispersed is the same information that I have digested daily for my entire professional career. Information is not everything, the analysis of what is being thrown at you is truly the most valuable thing, and that is why we are here, to help others gain a full understanding of how markets work and behave.

-> The sole purpose of Gallatin Research is to build better traders by teaching them how to form market opinions on their own, this is why we do not believe in trade alerts, but instead promoting an understanding of the markets.

About Gallatin Research

Gallatin Research was founded by a collection of commodity traders and upstream energy veterans. Headquartered in Golden, CO, we are a leading independent macroeconomic and commodity research firm. Our research aims to give clients a big-picture framework of the market fundamentals and macroeconomic forces that influence commodity price movement.
We use a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to monitor energy and global markets. Predictive models, driven by artificial intelligence [AI], anchor our views and create a basis for a repetitive process.

Experience
Nick started his professional career trading Eurodollar interest rates for Eldorado Trading Group in Denver, CO. During this time period he developed a trading strategy based on the microstructure of the market, order-flow, and spread trading. From here, Nick was further able to develop his skill set and understanding of the Eurodollar market to develop other strategies for varying futures contracts and time frames. The futures contracts that he mainly has an attentive focus on are: WTI Crude Oil, Henry Hub Natural Gas, Gold, EUR/USD, Eurodollars, and the S&P 500.

After working at Eldorado Trading Group, Nick went on to work as a senior investment associate for Mariner Wealth Advisors. During his time at Mariner, Nick developed a dynamic global macro trading strategy for the firm and their clients, along with managing all in house trading operations.

Nick continued to build his trading account during this time period and then decided to fully immerse himself in commodity market economics through a masters of science program at the Colorado School of Mines. Since he has been providing in-depth technical and fundamental market research for various commodities. Much of the specific fundamental commodity research is in alignment with private placement deals in the sector.
